Family Activities
Anantara Dhigu offers some great family excursions such a glass bottom boat trips and dolphin watching excursions.
Ideal for families with young children and non-swimmers, the glass bottomed boat offers 360o wildlife spotting, revealing pufferfish, octopus, and bright schools of angelfish darting in and out of the coral.
Spending the day on a private desert island is another popular excursion for families and you can also kayak to Guli Fushi Island at the edge of the lagoon for some great snorkelling.
Anantara also has a resident marine biologist who leads snorkelling trips in the lagoon. From July to September it’s possible to snorkel with giant manta rays, an unforgettable experience.
Anantara has excellent watersports facilities including water-skiing, wake-boarding, jetskis, donut rides and flyboarding.
Non-motorised watersports include sailing, windsurfing, kite-surfing, paddle boards and kayaks.
Snorkelling is very good at Anantara. There is a PADI 5 star dive centre and you can get your dive certification during your stay if you wish.
A sunset cruise is a popular way to end the day.
